8th Annual BNI Heartland Golf Outing Recap:

The eighth annual Business Network International (BNI) of the Heartland golf tournament was held on Monday, June 24, at the Iron Horse Golf Club in Ashland, Neb. Mourning Hope Grief Center, a Lincoln-based grief support network for grieving youth and their families, was selected to receive all proceeds from the charity golf event.

Through the generous contribution of this year’s corporate sponsors and nearly 130 participants, over $4,500 was donated to Mourning Hope and a 5-year total of over $20,000.
“We extend our gratitude to BNI of the Heartland for their dedication to the community, and for assisting in our mission to companion grieving families,” said Carly Runestad, Mourning Hope executive director. “The charity golf outing is simply one example of how the local BNI chapters take an active role in the community and set a solid example of leadership giving.”
Event sponsors included: Hole-In-One Sponsor – DuTeau Chevrolet Subaru; Mulligan and hole sponsor – Runza; hole sponsors – Brestel Roofing and Construction, DuTeau Chevrolet Subaru, Freedom Chiropractic, JR Premier Designs, New York Life Insurance/Chad Horsham, Oxbow Animal Health, Premier Designs by Sue Kittinger, Quickpro DJ’s, Swanson Russell, Turning Pointe Chiropractic and West Gate Bank; and in-kind sponsors, PIP Printing, CreativeMark and MPC Solutions LLC.
